Pool Hours of Operation:

Regular hours begin Friday, June 7:  Monday-Sunday, 12 pm to 7 pm, weather permitting, through August 24th.  The pool will be closed August 26-August 30th and open for Labor Day Weekend, August 31-September 2nd and then closing to the public for the season.  

In the case of a thunderstorm activity the pool will close for increments of 15 minutes to best judge conditions before closing for the day.  Closures and delays will be posted on our Facebook page.

Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult age 18 and over.

Pool Rules:

  • NO Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes or drugs are permitted.
  • Children under the age of 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
  • No running, pushing, “rough housing”, or inappropriate behavior or language permitted.
  • Running, diving (in shallow areas), horseplay are prohibited.
  • Non-inflatable Coast Guard approved life jackets or certified personal flotation devices or swim suits
    constructed with non-inflatable flotation supports designed for the size of the child and appropriately
    secured may be worn in the pool. No flotation devices or toys such as rings, noodles or inflatable items
    that would obstruct the lifeguard's view allowed in the pool.  All floation devices must be approved by the lifeguards.  
  • No LITTERING. Please dispose of all trash in proper receptacle.
  • No glass containers of any type are allowed in the pool area.
  • No inappropriate language or physical contact. We are a family facility!
  • Diaper-aged children must wear an approved swim diaper.
  • Underwater photography is not permitted.
  • Proper swim attire is required.
  • Underwater breath holding is not permitted.
  • No hanging on ropes or ladders.
  • Only soft water toys are permitted in the pool.
  • No sitting or standing on shoulders.
  • No food or drinks permitted in/near the pool.
  • Lap lanes are for lap swimmers only.
  • Lifeguard has final authority.

Diving Board Policies

  •  Only one person allow on the board at a time.
  • NO flips, gainers, cartwheels, handstands, or hanging off of the diving board!
  • Only one bounce on the board is allowed before diving.
  • No running while on the diving board.
  • No general swimming allowed in the diving area.
  • “Look before you leap”
  • Divers must swim directly to the nearest ladder and leave the diving area.
  • No swimming or playing in diving area when diving boards are being used.
  • Wait until the previous diver has cleared the landing area before you dive.

SECA Slide Policy

  • Must be 48" to ride
  • Youth less than 48" must complete a swim test conducted by a lifeguard in order to ride.
  • Single riders only
  • Maximum weight limit is 300 lbs
  • Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back or in up right
    seated position with legs firmly crossed at the ankles and arms
    folded across the chest (to prevent elbows from contacting the
    sides).
  • It is recommended that pregnant women, guests with head,
    neck or back problems, and guests with heart problems consult
    a physician prior to use.
  • No loose articles permitted. Swimmers hair and swimming
    suits (no T-shirts or shorts) must be free of zippers, rivets or
    any materials that could scratch the slide.
  • Lifejackets or any other flotation devices are not permitted,
    only dive masks, goggles, or eyeglasses may be worn and must
    be securely affixed to riders with head straps.
  • No pushing, shoving or saving places in line.
  • Proper swim attire is required; exposed metal is not permitted
  • Swim shoes are not permitted
  • Parents are not permitted to catch their child at the bottom of
    the slide.
  • Next rider may proceed once the slide zone at the bottom is
    clear of the previous rider. Exit slide zone area immediately.
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, or rotate or stop in the slide.
  • Slide Zone area should be clear at all times and not be used for
    swimming purposes. No jumping or diving into slide zone
    area. No flotation devices allowed in the slide zone area.
  • Ride at your own risk.

No pass? Don't worry. We've got daily admission rates, too.

Swimming Lessons at the SECA Pool

Thousands of young swimmers have learned to swim through swimming lessons at the SECA Pool. The goal for the program is to create a safe, controlled swimming environment through guided education and training. Swimming lessons are taught by SECA certified lifeguards and swim team coaches. SECA SHARKS SWIM TEAM2 Young Smiling Girls in Swimming Suits

SECA and the SECA Pool is home to the SECA Sharks Swim Team.  The SECA Sharks compete in Lancaster County’s Division III Summer Swim League.  SECA Sharks Coaching Staff is dedicated to training swimmers at every level, instilling a sense of confidence in the water and a joy of competition. For ages 3-18.

Open to any swimmer who can swim the length of the pool unassisted. Practices held on weekday mornings or evenings. For more information visit the SECA Sharks Website at www.secasharks.org.

 

SECA SHARKS IN TRAINING

This program is designed to teach young swimmers the basic skills needed to compete in the Lancaster County Summer Swim League.  The team philosophy focuses on developing a love of swimming from the very first stroke.  The program instills confidence along with skill and allows many beginners to advance to competition status in their first season.

The SECA Pool was built in 1949. It takes 322,000 Gallons of H20 to fill it each year!

There’s no better place to host a pool party than the SECA Pool! The only thing we can’t guarantee will be the weather! But, you are sure to enjoy the venue. Lifeguards included. Pool, pavilion, bathrooms, for regular hours or private after-hours parties!
